Introduction To Chipkit Pi
This is the latest Arduino compatible chipKIT platform designed for Raspberry Pi. It is a low pin count 32-bit microcontroller. It allows user to create applications including touch sensing, audio processing and advance control. It uses PIC32 Microcontroller. They are 32 bit microcontrollers.

Software Compatibility
Great efforts have been taken to port existing Arduino™ 0022 core functions and libraries to work on the chipKIT Platform. This means any sketches and application examples making use of these core functions and libraries should be interchangeable between your Arduino™ and compatible chipKIT board.
Hardware Compatibility
The chipKIT boards were designed to be compatible with existing Arduino™ boards. This includes outer dimensions, mounting hole placement and so on. Pin-out has been designed to match the modeled board as closely as possible. The chipKIT boards are 3.3V devices,
but all pins on the chipKIT boards are 5V tolerant.
